TÜV AUSTRIA Academy Azerbaijan is the local branch of an internationally recognized training and certification organization. We provided the following services, such as: developing a modern, performance-oriented corporate website to strengthen their online presence and provide a clear, accessible digital platform for users seeking information about their professional training programs.

Company Description

TÜV AUSTRIA Azerbaijan LLC, established in 2017, represents the organization locally and delivers certified training in accordance with EN and ISO standards.

Because no unified digital platform existed for the Academy’s local branch, the lack of online visibility did not structurally reflect their global reputation. A professional, well-structured website became essential to communicate their services, mission, and expertise.

Before the website was developed, the Academy faced several issues:

  • Lack of professional online platform representing their services in Azerbaijan
  • Lack of structuralized presentation of training courses
  • Limited digital visibility and low SEO performance
  • No centralized hub for schedules, upcoming trainings, or trainer profiles
  • Lack of visual identity that matched global standards
  • No online contact or inquiry system
  • The need in certificate verification tool

Project objectives

We developed website to achieve the following objectives:

  • Establish a credible digital identity aligned with TÜV AUSTRIA’s global brand
  • Detailed presentation of all training courses and service categories
  • Provide an intuitive UX with easy navigation
  • Develop fully responsive, mobile-first design
  • Create options for a user contact through forms and communication channels
  • Implement a certificate verification functionality
  • Provide a CMS that allows staff to update trainings, schedules, and content easily

Solution & process

UX/UI Implementation (Client-Guided Design)

  • Developed a clean, modern layout consistent with TÜV AUSTRIA’s visual identity
  • Designed a detailed information architecture (About, Trainings, Trainers, Schedule, Certificate Verification, Contact)
  • Visual hierarchy smoothly blended with professional branding
  • Ensured mobile-first responsiveness and usability across all devices

Information Architecture

  • Divided training into particular categories (ISO, Technical, IT, Environment, HR, etc.)
  • Provided detailed training pages with dates, descriptions, locations, and pricing
  • Added a “Trainers” section with professional profiles
  • Integrated an innovative “Certificate Verification” section

Technical solution & functionalities

  • Implemented a flexible CMS using WordPress
  • Used semantic HTML for accessibility and SEO
  • Developed functional contact and verification forms

HTTPS/SSL were implemented for security and stable hosting

Custom Functionality — Development of Three Core Systems

The most important part of the project was the development of three fully custom-built systems, created as custom WordPress plugins tailored to the Academy’s workflow.

1) Training Management System

A custom module enables the Academy to add and manage training courses with: title, description, start & end date, location, price and image.

All trainings automatically appear on the Trainings page, and each has its own details page accessible via click.

 

2) Calendar System — Future Training Scheduler

An interactive calendar module was built to display upcoming training sessions for the users.

Key features:

  • Shows only future trainings
  • Dates with trainings are marked in red
  • Details of the selected day appear below the calendar
  • Users can switch between months to view both past and future training plans

This provides a visual, user-friendly method for planning and browsing upcoming sessions.

 

3) Certificate Verification System

A fully functional verification module was designed for users to check the authenticity of certificates.

Process:

  • User enters the certificate code
  • If valid, the system displays: participant name, training title, date of completion, confirmation of authenticity.

This significantly increases trust and transparency of the company.

Technology Stack — Custom WordPress Development

The site is built on WordPress CMS, but:

  • All UI/UX design was transformed into a hand-coded custom theme
  • Three custom plugins were developed (Training system, Calendar, Certificate verification)
  • Admin panel enhanced with custom fields and data structures

Multilingual Support

The website is fully bilingual:

  • Azerbaijani
  • English

All content, menus, training pages, certificate systems, and navigation are synchronized across both languages for the local market.

Results & impact

With the new website TÜV AUSTRIA Academy gained:

  • A modern, trustworthy digital identity aligned with its international reputation
  • Clearly structuralised training programs and categories
  • Certificate verification increased transparency and trust among the clients
  • The Training Management system simplified internal workflows
  • The Calendar System created a professional planning tool for both users and staff

Staff can now update content easily through the CMS, reducing operational effort
